Kitchenhood Suppression System (KHSS)
"Rapid Grease Fire Smothering & Gas Line Cutoff."
Wet chemical fire suppression engineered specifically for commercial kitchen extract hoods, exhaust ducts, and high-heat cooking appliances. Protects restaurants, hotels, and food commissaries from grease vapor flash fires.
Our Bohol engineering team conducts on-site layout reviews and provides written quotations with complete material lists.
Core Benefits of this System
Instant saponification creates a thick soapy foam blanket over burning oil
Simultaneous mechanical fuel and gas line shutoff valve activation
Non-corrosive stainless steel distribution nozzles above appliances
Swift cleanup after discharge with ordinary water and cloth
Compliance guarantee for food safety licenses and BFP inspections
How the Process Works
Thermal Detection
Fusible alloy links inside the exhaust hood melt upon detecting extreme grease fire temperatures.
Pneumatic / Mechanical Trigger
The release mechanism actuates the pressurized wet chemical agent cylinder.
Liquid Agent Discharge
Potassium-based agent discharges through stainless nozzles onto fryers, ranges, and hood ducts.
Automatic Gas Shutoff
The mechanical or solenoid gas valve shuts off simultaneously, cutting fuel to the stoves.
